About
Dogs, dogs and more dogs. Julie spent many years developing her training
techniques and how best to teach them to owners. She has worked with and
learned from the best:
Sheila Bailey (Derbyshire Canine Centre), John Rogerson, Dr. Anne
MacBride, Dr Ian Dunbar, Nicole Wilde, Sarah Fisher, Annie Clayton KCAI, Pia
Sivanni, Dee Ganley, Pam McKinnon, Deborah Gornall KCAI, Gwen Bailey, Barbara
Sykes, John McNeal KCAI, Kim Hunt, Dr Joel Gavriele-Gold, and many more.
Academically Julie holds a University Diploma from Harper Adams University in Canine Training & Behaviour Management. A City & Guilds in teaching (PTTLLS). Instructing certificates cover both theory and practical from; Pet Dog Training Instructors - advanced level (PDTI - adv) and Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour (ADTB)
Professional memberships include; PPDTI, and the Registration Council for Dog Training and Behaviour Practitioners (RCDTBP) formerly a board member.
Julie sometimes holds seminars and workshops for other trainers; sharing
knowledge and providing better education for dog owners is a high priority.
In private she works for a rescue; fostering, rehabilitating and re-homing
dogs,very often taking dogs which are difficult to re-home, to live with her family.
She has written a book about managing a Diabetic dog. Julie has owned and trained blind and deaf dogs.
At home she currently lives with her husband and six dogs.
